Macro Abstract In this project I learned how to turn a picture that doesn't look that intriguing into something much better. I applied the rule of thirds to conduct the viewers eyes in the most interesting parts of the picture. And I used a shallow depth of field to make the part of the image I wanted to stand out look great. And finally I used my photoshop skills to divide this picture into 3 pictures. It was difficult to find the right area to crop the picture. It was also difficult to make the colors really show and make one side black and white. It was another struggle to get the right lighting in the original picture. I cropped the picture over and over to solve the cropping issue and I used the color enhancers in Photoshop to make the colors stand out. To fix the lighting I messed with the shutter speed and the iso. The strengths of the picture is how abstract it is and the way it makes you feel as you look farther into it. Some weaknesses are the places I cropped the picture in and the photoshop editing. Next time I could focus on making the picture higher quality by taking more time on the picture. I could also focus more on the photoshop editing by taking more time on the cropping.
